(syllabus)
The course treats the issue of linguistic pathologies with a particular focus on deficits involving the discursive level of communication. The main goal is to show how language deficits represent a key to highlight to the essential characteristics of human communication. Among the cases examined, autism, schizophrenia, head trauma and aphasia will be deeply discussed.
