1A and 1B (1st and 2nd language) courses for each language are unified since the required entry level (B2+) is the same.
Development of: a) ability to communicate ideas, attitudes, intentions and to solve foreign language-specific communicative problems; b) knowledge and understanding of theoretical and methodological translation issues; c) analytic and translation skills in a range of texts produced in selected domains.
Teaching/learning activities include: lectures; language improvement classes; use of language laboratory; text analysis and translation workshop.
