A Double Portrait: Emily Dickinson and Sylvia Plath
A selection of poems by two American women poets of the nineteenth and twentieth century will offer the ground for a close reading of the poetic text, an exploration of the two poets’ respective historical and cultural contexts, and the coeval gender politics. Translation studies will be under scrutiny.
