Materials used in machine elements: mechanical and technological characteristics, static and dynamic tests, mechanical, heat and chemical treatments, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, non-metallic materials.
Design of elements subjected to static loading: stress and strain state, simple loadings, Mohr circles, ideal stress, hypotheses of failure.
Principles for designing or choosing of: rolling and sliding bearings, springs, non-permanent and permanent joints. Analysis of industrial products.
