Fundamentals of Fluid dynamics, airfoil properties, standard atmosphere. Potential flows: 2D and 3D theories; 2nd Green theorem and boundary integral methods; The BEM approach. Infinite incompressible wings: Glauert theory. Finite wings: Prandtl theory and lifting surface theory. Incompressible boundary layer theories: Falkner-Skan and Von Karmann integral equation. Turbulence: general equations, RANS approach and modelling, Kolmogorov theory. Fundamentals of Computer Fluid Dynamics.
