The course aims to introduce students, in a historical perspective, to the most important contemporary phenomena of economic and social integration between the different areas of the world, with particular attention for the cooperation for development, the formation of trade regional agreements, the Latin American, Mediterranean and Far East areas.

The course will be organized in seminars: the material to be studied will be distributed by the teacher during the lessons; the students not attending the course are requested to contact the teacher to agree on the texts on which to prepare for the exam.
