The student will acquire advanced knowledge through: 1) the philological commentary of selected passages; 2) the analysis of the same steps following different paths - linguistic, historical-literary, anthropological -, questioning each time on the 'permanence' of the genre in specific areas of our culture (the students will be an active part in this part of the course, which takes the form of a research laboratory); 3) commentary on the passages of great authors of Latin literature in the light of the critical-exegetical writings of eminent contemporary philologists.
