(syllabus)
The course is made up of face-to-face and online lessons (36 hours) and a seminar (18 hours) The lessons will focus on the theoretical and historical foundations of educational research, and on the criteria for planning and organising data collection, for ensuring data validity and reliability, for setting up data collecting tools.
In the seminar, students will read Dewey’s text "Le fonti di una scienza dell'educazione" and be guided to reflect on the principles of education set by the famous scholar and on how they have affected the developments of educational studies and of research in education.
