Black Hollywood on the Tiber: actors, production intersections, modes of representation. The course is intended to frame the image projected by Italian film on the United States, analyzing, through modes of production and representation, the role played by African American actors and characters - with different modalities, along the gender axes - in the progressive reconfiguration of this image.
