The goal of this course is to acquire a basic knowledge of written and oral Portuguese language, equivalent to level B1 of the European framework. In particular, this course wants to promote the acquisition of vocabulary and functional structures for communication in a situation of immediate relevance and the ability to understand and produce written and oral short texts with an elementary linguistic content. The objective of the course is also the acquisition of the main features of the diachronic development of the Portuguese language.
