(objectives)
• To know the development of philosophical thought and the genesis of ideas that have contributed to the elaboration of educational theories and models • Recognize the origins of the major philosophical issues and the link with cultural traditions, in view of a critical interpretation of models and educational practices • Compare the individualistic-utilitarian relational paradigm with that of gift and care
Course content 1. The course aims to analyze the importance of the inter-subjective relationship of reciprocity, especially when it assumes the forms of gift and care, now increasingly necessary and revalued, in opposition to the individualist model and the utilitarian model typical of postmodern social ethos.
