This course presents the main subjects in Work and Organizational Psychology from a historical framework. More in detail, the course will deal with: motivation, internal communication, leadership, career paths, climate, organizational change and work-family relationship. There will be a particular focus on the topic of stress and of psychophysical well-being in organization. This course will present theoretical contents and fieldwork discussions. Moreover, there will be in-class works and visiting lectures.
This course deals with the fundamentals of Work and Organizational Psychology with the aim of providing a basic knowledge of: the main theories that have marked the development of this discipline, with a focus on different facets of organizational life; the methods and tools used in organizational research.
