(syllabus)
The course has the general objective of describing the main methodological research lines in education and to facilitate the knowledge about building and use of the main tools useful to collect data. Specific objectives carried out during the course are the following: - reflect on the main characteristics of the educational lexicon; - define the main methodological approaches in educational research; - design and project hypotheses in educational research - reflect on changes which have an impact on assessment research - classify evaluation tools, useful to carry out research in educational settings; - define the relationship between teaching and learning and assessment; - identify assessment elements and functions - build objective tests - analyse data collected through assessment tests; - revise different test types
