Attendance and enrollment

Since the participation in the Law clinic is a decisive part of the Course, the attendance is mandatory.
The students shall sign up within September 18, 2016, sending an e-mail to the following address:
dirittidetenuti@libero.it
The course will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (from October 12 to November 25).
In addition to the frontal lessons, the hours spent in Law clinic activities, taking place at the penitentiary, will be taken into account.



Exam
The final mark will be the result of the combined evaluation of the activities performed at the Law clinic and of a final exam concerning the following textbooks:

1) M. Ruotolo, Dignità e carcere, Naples, Editoriale Scientifica, II edition, 2014.
2) VV. AA. , Articles on detention and rights of detainees, published in www.costituzionalismo.it, no. 2/2015 (free access)

The students who already passed the final exam of the Seminar “Rights of detainees and Constitution”, held in past years, shall substitute the textbook n. 1) with the following:
M. Ruotolo (edited by), Il senso della pena, Editoriale scientifica, Naples, 2014.

The positive attendance of Law clinic activities is a prerequisite to take the final exam.

The final mark will be the result of the combined evaluation of the activities performed at the Law clinic and of a final exam concerning the following textbooks:
1) M. Ruotolo, Dignità e carcere, Naples, Editoriale Scientifica, II edition, 2014.
2) VV. AA. , Articles on detention and rights of detainees, published in www.costituzionalismo.it, no. 2/2015 (free access)
