20110037 ATTIVITA': CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES OF THE FAMILY IN A COMPARATIVE PROSPECTIVE in Law LMG/01 MACARIO FRANCESCO

The training activity has the aim to illustrate the role of the family and of the legislation within different legal experiences in historical and comparative perspective. The focus will be on the main institutions of family law (marriage, filiation, etc.) with regard to the Western conception of family law and that belonging to other legal experiences, with particular reference to the Islamic world. This comparison will allow to highlight the evolution of the relationship between law and religion in different legal experiences, as well as to reason on family law as an instrument of government of society, capable of affecting interpersonal and intergenerational relationships. The activity is designed as workshop of the course "Sistemi giuridici comparati", but it is also addressed to students who participated or want to participate in the course "Diritto di famiglia italiano e comparato”.
Lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 3:30 pm. They will start on Monday, April 4, 2016.
