(syllabus)
The course aims to give main topics of judicial collective protection and will be coordinated with civil procedure I and II courses. The introduction concerns the purposes of collective and class actions in modern judicial systems. Then, the relationship between public and private enforcement, selection of plaintiff having standing, problems of dissociation between plaintiffs having standing and non parties binded by res judicata, issues concerning management of collective and class actions. Cases will be examined. Two CFU achievable after passing oral exam.

Any suggested manual of civil procedure can be used, with specific reference to program topics.
Class attendance is necessary to give oral exam.
