Course content
Course title: Pedagogy of the school between reform of the education system and identity roots of the formation of the human person
Course programme: The discipline “General Pedagogy” is one of the fundamental course in the curriculum for students to become teacher of Primary School. The discipline aims at forming knowledge and competences in the system of educational sciences preparing the students in pedagogy and theory of education. The scientific analysis and the open minded for a better understanding of the educational process develop reflective thinking and critical appreciation of the phenomenon, and characterize the action of education. The specific context of the study is the production of the meaning of education according to Authors and schools in constant interaction with the institutions which form the society. The main assumption is that the pedagogical thinking is a space of life in which the education draws is own discourse. The preparation in the field of pedagogy starts from reform school considering the legislative a new opportunity to define the profile of the teacher in Italy and Europe. It investigates the formative itinerary outlined by educators and pedagogues who interpreted the doing of school with the development of concepts and issues with respect to which we question and propose credible solutions for all. The connective tissue of the phases of development of the teaching is to seek the sense of being a person in the identification of which values educating generations who live in school the first experience of the educational community and full responsibility.

Assessment methods
Two written verification texts for those who are annual students and one written verification text for those who are semester students. By October all students must read the programme. By May all verification texts are completed and the students present their own study in a written document The Student’s Sources in Education Studies call Manual of General Pedagogy. The oral exam follows from June according to sessions.
