FAMIGLIE E RETI SOCIALI
(objectives)
The course intends to analyze the family as a system in a social network in order to generate a complex process that includes biological, social and symbolic aspects. Family transformation and its capacity to produce social resources will be analyzed through the principal sociological theories, in the context of the social networks analysis. The family system, source of fiduciary and network relationships, is the starting point of the study of social changes. It will be also studied the theory of social capital as primary source of families and social networks. In this context the theory of social networks is analyzed as an analytical concept and social source through the paradigm of the present, of the reciprocity, of the confidence and relationship. The analysis intends to highlight the role of networks in the social welfare production, as answer to community and relation renewal processes. Particular attention will be given to the role of primary and secondary networks of the cooperation sector as strategy to answer to fragmented policies and services for marginal families.
