Monographic Course Title: Film and Dream
Program: Since its very beginning cinema has been associated with dream, as it makes it possible to represent dreams more than any other art. Focusing on psychoanalysis and The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud, the course aims to investigate how some of the masterpieces of the history of cinema have represented dreams and how they have thus revealed and at the same time hidden, many conflicts of the psyche and society.
