20401664 MICROBIAL GENETICS in Biology for Molecular, Cellular and Physiopathological Research LM-6 N0 CASALINO MARIA ASSUNTA, COZZI RENATA
(syllabus)
PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF 10-15 SCIENTIFIC PAPERS REGARDING THE RELEVANT STAGES OF THE HISTORICAL AND EPISTEMOLOGICAL ITINERARY OF RESEARCH ON TWO THEMES, WHICH VARY FROM YEAR TO YEAR (i.e. THE ORIGIN OF SPONTANEOUS MUTATION, THE ORIGIN AND EVOLUTION OF THE GENETIC CODE, REGULATION BY ATTENUATION). THE PAPERS ARE CHOOSEN IN SUCH A WAY AS TO ALLOW FOR THE IN-DEPTH TREATMENT OF CRUCIAL ISSUES TO WHICH MEANINGFUL CONTRIBUTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE BY RESEARCH IN THE FIELD, SUCH AS THE BASES OF MOLECULAR GENETICS; MUTATION; PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL HEREDITY MECHANISMS; PHYSIOLOGY AND GENETICS OF PHAGES, BACTERIA, AND ASCOMYCETES.
