Course Programme
Prerequisite, bridging courses
Prerequisite: basic knowledge of Ancient History.
Bridging courses: it's recommended to have attended or to attend together the course Principles of Roman and Greek archaeology and art history.
Course description
The course consists in 2 D.U. (didactic units); the following issues will be discussed.
1° D.U.
Archaeology: methods and matters.
Stratigraphic excavation: main principles and procedures.
2° D.U.
Archaeological documentation: main principles of metric survey. Whithin this course part, metric survey practice excercise on field will be scheduled.

Final examination procedures
