Basic definitions, especially with regard to the concepts of space and territory, the processes of territorialization and its effects, the basis of the concept of limit/boundary and its applications. Main disciplinary and transdisciplinary methods of investigation used in geographical research.

UNIT 2 - 36 HOURS - 6 CFU
Geographical discourse and cartographic language. Partitive and comparative logic; representation and complexity in contemporary geography; geographical taxonomies and landscape between continuous and discrete. geography in humanities. The social construction of the space, spatial justice/injustice, societal competition in the space.
