PROBLEMS OF NATURE CONSERVATION IN REFUGE SITES..MODULE 2.- HISTORICAL GARDENS (2 CREDITS) THE ORIGIN OF THE IDEA OF GARDEN. HISTORICAL EXCURSUS FROM THE ASSYRO-BABYLONIANS, EGYPTIANS, GREEK-ROMANS, MEOIOEVAL TIMES TO MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY AGE. THE PROBLEMS OF MANAGEMENTS OF HISTORICAL GARDENS. MODULE 3 FIELD PRACTICE (2 CREDITS) VISIT IN EXEMPLIFICATIVE AREAS, SUCH AS COLOSSEUM AND HORTI FARNESIANI ON THE PALATINE, ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREAS IN THE APPIA ANTICA, AND OTHER HISTORICAL PARKS IN THE CENTRAL ITALY) TO GIVE SOME FURTHER DETAILS.
