Catching the theoretical basics, methodologies and techniques for the analysis and forecast of demand for telecommunications networks and services, for their planning, for the evaluation of its investment income, and monitoring of the quality of services and satisfaction of users.

To acquire specific knowledge on infrastructured and self organising mobile networks architectures, and related technologies. Particular attention will be devoted to those methodologies and techniques aimed at an efficient use of radio resources and to the cooperation of the various units in order to mitigate mutual interference and to maximize the Quality of Service (Cogniteve Radio Paradigm). To acquire major methodologies for the assessment of mobile networks performance and design guidelines.
