(syllabus)
The course is developed into two main sections. Firstly, a reconstruction of the conflict situation will be under focus according to a multidisciplinary approach, followed by a definition of the international legal framework of armed international and civil conflicts, completed by a reference to past and present operational modalities: in this section the core topic concerns the legal contents and implementation od peace agreements. In the second section, the role and intervention of the United Nations as well as other regional intergovernmental actors, in order to prevent and manage international crisis will be properly investigated.
