ENGLISH LITERATURE II MASTER'S LEVEL COURSE
(objectives)
Students will refine their competence in analysing the intermedial and intercultural dynamics of the literatures and cultures of English-speaking countries, including issues of geography and cultural identity and the teaching of literature. They will also refine their ability to use theoretical and methodological approaches, and to apply the tools of philological and literary analysis for the interpretation of cultural phenomena, in particular of processes of cross-cultural translation and the dynamics of intermedial communication.
