The course wants to discover the meaning of knowledge and the relationship between body and mind, between the mental and the physical phases of the human brain. Despite of the materialism, that denies the existence of the mental phases, Popper, think that there is an interaction between the two phases and he shows his “three world theory”, in the first world there are the ideas, in the second world there is the reality and the resolution of the problem body-mind. Popper’s thought about knowledge, shows an important theory about the “human identity”, he considers it as a creative, a rational and a practical mechanism.
