Promote to the student a deep knowledge of the main methodologies of analytical chemistry, by both traditional and advanced methods with specific attention to experimental methods using specific apparatus. The intention is to give to the students the basic and advanced conceptual means to understand the meaning of the different analytical methodologies in order to predict and evaluate the results. The knowledge of the chemical principles and laws will allow to enhance the formation by experimental check by means of classical and complex analytical methods, as for instance IR, UV-VIS, fluorescence and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies, as well as gas chromatography and HPLC together with mass spectrometry.
