Objective of the course is the education of professionals in the field of hvac systems. In the first part students are provided with information and tools to describe the state and possible transformations of humid air, and to evaluate the thermal and igroscopic comfort conditions. Then the student must learn how to calculate the amount os solar radiation on any given surface. The second part is devoted to the description and sizing of the main components of systems: heating, air conditioning, thermal solar. Students learn how to choose and design such systems, also through a design exercise they have to do and write a report about.
