THEORETICAL PHYSICS II
(objectives)
In this course the basic theoretical elements are given concerning field theory, quantum electrodynamics, and the the Standard Model of Electroweak Interactions. The second quantization of the electron and photon fields and their interactions are studied with the technique of Feynman diagrams. The renormalization is discussed at the one-loop level. After some basic phenomenological properties of weak interactions, the electroweak Standard Model is considered and its application to e+e- and hadronic collisions.
