To give a basic knowledge of the sources of rules in the area of US company and corporate law. – To provide skills in law and economics applied to company law. – To provide practical tools in order to carry out research research work in US company law. – To understand the decision-making process mechanisms in companies, especially widely-held corporations. – To understand what kind of protection is assured to the different constituencies in the corporate area. – To provide a comparative perspective of US and EU company law.
