ENGLISH LITERATURE I MASTER'S LEVEL COURSE
(objectives)
Students will acquire specialized competences to be applied to methodologies of text analysis of the literatures of English-speaking countries, considered in their transcultural dimension and also in relation to relevant issues in the teaching of literature. Students will refine their abilities in independently referring to, and problematizing, updated theoretical frameworks in their analyses of texts and literary phenomena from a cultural and linguistic point of view. They will also be trained to recognize interconnections between literary language and the languages of other forms of expression, with specific reference to methods and problems in teaching literature.
