The aim of the course is to introduce students to the “inorganic biofactors”, starting from their biochemical role to the analysis of their impact on human health. In the second part of the course we will focus on the “omics”, which represents a broad discipline of science (from trascriptomics to metabolomics) intended for analyzing system biology and for characterizing the biochemical events associated to transcripts, proteins and metabolites variations in fluids, organs and tissues.
