This module (40 hours, Prof. Liberati) aims at providing advanced tools for the study of the public sector, with particular reference to public expenditures, public debt, and the regulation of public utilities. More specifically, it will be addressed the main theoretical and practical aspects of pension systems, of the provision of health care and of educational systems, as well as the ways in which public utilities can be provided and priced. Finally, the study of the sustaainability of public debt will also be addressed.
