Goal of the course is to provide students criteria and methodologies for energy system management. Another main objective is to introduce general methodologies to set up functional, economic and environmental models of elementary plant components (heat transfer devices, burners, machinery, etc.) and to build the overall plan model by matching the above elementary components.
After the course the student will be capable to carry out the analysis of management problems for single plants as well as for pools of plants. Moreover the student will be able to set up models for the simulation of plant components (machines and apparatuses) and match them to get the simulator of the whole plant.
