Acquisition of a good level knowledge of the essential features of 16th and 17th century literary and cultural history of Spain, especially regarding the interrelations with historical and social dynamics, peculiar to the nation, and with the major shifts that characterized 18th and 19th century European culture. Acquisition of advanced abilities as to the methods of textual analysis, especially regarding the linguistic, figurative and intermedial dimension.
