(A-L) Lectures: Basic notions on word, meaning, connotation, denotation, synonymy etc.; Introduction to contemporary English lexicon: word formation processes, fixed expressions, collocations; Introduction to the use of mono- and bilingual dictionaries; Features of English and Italian lexicon; Sentences and structures; The origins of English words.
Language improvement classes: Reading, writing, listening and speaking activities leading to: - B1 level, for 1st year, first language; - A2 level for 1st year, second language.
