To reinforce and extend the level of the four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing (level C1 of the European Framework). To develop fluency and expressiveness both in oral and written English. To extend and consolidate the students’ linguistic knowledge (vocabulary, syntax). To develop a high level of skill in written translation between English and Italian, and to enhance the students’ methodological approach to varied text types, including specialized texts, while providing a basic training in sight translation and in the use of major translation tools.
