To reinforce and extend the level of the four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing (level B2 of the European Framework). To extend and consolidate the students’ linguistic knowledge (vocabulary, syntax) and the written and oral skills they acquired in the first year. To enhance the students’ methodological and practical skills in translation (English-Italian, varied text types, including specialized texts), while providing a basic training in the use of major translation tools.
