To acquire communicative skills and reinforce the level of the four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing (level B1 of the European Framework). To consolidate the student's understanding of the English grammar, expand their vocabulary, and increase their level of comprehension of written and spoken English. To acquire basic skills in the analysis of varied text types. To acquire elements of terminology. To combine practice of translation (English-Italian) with teaching of basic translation strategies.
