(syllabus)
Achievement of basic linguistic skills of Modern Standard Arabic, both written and oral. The program of Arabic grammar will be focused on:
- Alphabet and pronunciation (segmental and suprasemental phonemes);
- Nominal and pronominal morphology (determination and marker of indetermination, broken and perfect plurals, personal pronouns, demonstratives, relative pronouns);
- Morphology of triliteral verbs (from the first to the tenth verbal form);
- Basic structure of the noun phrase (noun-adjective agreement, idafa)
- Nominal and verbal sentence;
- Relative sentence
No previous knowledge is required.
