THE COURSE APPROACHES THE ISSUE OF POLITICAL COMMUNICATION, STARTING FROM PROBLEMATIC DEFINITION OF THE DISCIPLINARY FIELDS. THE PROGRAM WILL HIGHLIGHT THE SOCIAL EFFECTS OF MEDIA COVERAGE OF POLITICS, PARTICULARY NOTING THE EXTENSIVE CONNECTIONS WITH OTHER DISCIPLINES (POLITICAL SCIENCE, COMMUNICATION SCIENCE, ANTHROPOLOGY, SEMIOTICS, SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY, ETC.).THE COURSE WILL FOCUS ON PROBLEMATIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN POWER AND PUBLIC OPINION. THE COURSE WILL APPROACH THIS TOPIC IN HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE AND WITH PARTICOLAR REFERENCE TO THE CONTRIBUTIONS TO BOTH THEORETICAL AND EMPIRICAL RESEARCH ABOUT EFFECTS OF MEDIA ON POLITICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL MODELS OF INTERPRETATION OF REALITY.
