MAJOR GOALS OF THIS COURSE ARE: TO INTENSIFY A KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN APPROACH FOR THE CONSERVATION OF PLANT AND ANIMAL SPECIES AND THEIR POPULATION AT REGIONAL SCALE, HABITAT AND LANDSCAPE AT REGIONAL AND GLOBAL SCALE; TO GET THE MASTERY OF THE MAIN METODOLOGIES OF CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ECOSYSTEMS; TO ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO INTERPRET ECOSYSTEMS PHENOMENA AND CORRELATE THEM WITH HUMAN ACTIVITIES; TO DEVELOP THE INTERPRETATION OF ECOLOGICAL DATA AND READ THE SPECIFIC PAPER IN CONSERVATION BIOLOGY, NATURE CONSERVATION AND APPLIED ECOLOGY.
