HISTORY OF 20TH CENTURY ITALIAN FOREIGN POLICY
(objectives)
The course is meant for graduate students who already have a basic knowledge of Italian history and of the international history of the twentieth century. It is conceived as an advanced seminar and the students are expected to play a very active role, to engage the teacher with their questions, to give an individual oral presentation about their readings, and to participate in the collective discussions. The main goal is to provide the students with a broad understanding of the key features of Italian foreign policy and with the analytical skills to interpret a research monograph.
