THE COURSE METHODOLOGY OF THE SOCIAL SEARCH INTRODUCES THE STUDENTS TO THE ACTIVITY OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH IN THE SOCIAL SCIENCES. THE COURSE ARTICULATES IN TWO DIDACTIC MODULES OF TWENTY-SEVEN HOURS EACH: THE FIRST IS DEVOTED TO THE QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES OF DATA COLLECTION WITH PARTICOLAR REFERENCE TO THE FORMULATION OF THE PROBLEM SCIENTIFIC-COGNITIVE AND TO THE LAYOUT OF A DESIGN OF THE RESEARCH; THE SECOND CONCERNS ON THE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF DATA ANALYSIS, QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE, APPROPRIATE FOR THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCHES. DURING THE WHOLE COURSE THE TREATED MATTERS WILL BE EXEMPLIFIED RESORTING TO THE ILLUSTRATION OF THE CONCRETE PROCEDURES OF SEARCH ADOPTED IN AN EMPIRICAL RESEARCH CONDUCTED BY THE TEACHER AND HAVING AS CIRCLE OF SEARCH THE VALUES AND THE ATTITUDES OF THE YOUNG ROMANS.
