HISPANIC-AMERICAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE I
(objectives)
Acquisition of a good knowledge of literary and cultural history of Spanish-speaking countries of Latin-America with particular emphasis on issues related to the encounter with the Other (European) and the representation of the new continent, exemplified in texts relating to the sixteenth, seventeenth and twentieth centuries. Acquisition of a good competence in reading and analyzing texts in the program by learning the basic tools of literary-critical research. Acquisition and verification of the ability to argue critically about issues and tackled problems.
