Advanced knowledge of the literary and cultural history of the United States and the English-speaking countries of America in the twentieth century. Special attention will be devoted to intercultural, postcolonial and multiethnic dynamics, to gender identities, and the geo-political diversity. The students will be also acquainted with an advanced knowledge of translation practices.
