HISPANIC-AMERICAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE II LTI
(objectives)
Acquisition of a good knowledge of the features of literary and cultural history of Spanish-speaking countries of Latin-America in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries with particular reference to post-independence identity processes and the theme of the border, presented through the literary canon civilization/barbarism, and skills related to understanding and critical analysis of literary phenomena of this period in their historical and cultural dimension. Acquisition of skills related to advanced methods of textual analysis, with special emphasis on linguistic and figurative, and advanced knowledge and applied methodologies for the analysis of literary communication and cultural processes.
