(syllabus)
In the first phase of the course, the students are shown an organic up-date of the instruments available to optimize the architects results in improving the living systems. To give a clear illustration of innovative projects, focus will be given to two particular issues: 1) the energetic behavior of the constructions through a systematic exam of the building’s outer skin and of the available resources 2) the impact of the industrial process and therefore the materials and the activities that allow the reduction of the anthropic impact These issues are to be developed by the students through the realization of a project aimed at he satisfaction of goals which have to be reached through the use of innovative instruments, in relation to specific requirements of the location and the usage thereof.
