(objectives)
Basic theoretic notions aimed at a preliminary text analysis and translation.
Theoretical aspects: introduction to text typologies; text analysis; formal characteristics of the different text typologies; basic evaluation of translational issues and introduction to translation categories.
Practice: translation exercise (basic level); application of the translation categories on different texts (related to humanistic-cultural domain).
Written exam at the end of the module.
